An e-learning resource on Eucharist for Catholic students

Together at One Altar is a web-based teaching and learning resource on the Eucharist which has been sponsored by the National Catholic Education Commission (NCEC) and developed by a team of writers from Catholic Education Offices in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sale and Brisbane.  The design and construction of the website is by Fraynework Multimedia, a work of the Sisters of Mercy.

This resource uses a contemporary approach and is a companion to the multimedia resource- Become One Body One Spirit In Christ  http://www.becomeonebodyonespiritinchrist.org. There are 4 student levels F-3, 4-6, 7-10 and 11-12 which can be chosen to suit the appropriate age level of students, all arranged around the topic areas of: EXPLORE, CRAFT, RECEIVE and GIVE.

This is the first nationally-produced Catholic RE resource in Australia. It was launched to coincide with the introduction in parishes in Australia of the new translation of the Roman Missal, from Pentecost Sunday.

The NCEC plans to add further to the website as teachers contribute lessons and develop materials for it. Go to: www.togetheratonealtar.catholic.edu.au
