Pre Application Instructions

Through out the online application, the system requires the user to complete some tasks outside the scope of the system, such us completing:

• The NSWIoT teacher accreditation form (if needed by the applicant) and,
• The print out and mailing of paper forms.

Make sure you understand what it's required from you, the applicant, before proceeding with the application. If you have read the instructions and understand the related tasks, continue with to the online application.

Terms:

• CEO Teacher Classification online form: CEO online system to register to teach for the Sydney Systemic Catholic Schools
• NSWIoT Teacher Accreditation online form: New South Wales Institute of Teachers online form to seek teacher accreditation.

PDF Viewer software to view the forms

Two paper forms (plus other support documents) are to be submitted by the applicant to the Catholic Education Office, Sydney. These forms will be automatically filled up with the data entered in the online application. Forms will be generated as Adobe PDF format. Most of computers have PDF reader software already installed, but if you wish to install it, you can do so from the Adobe site.

By default, the online application system sets up the forms to fit in one A4 page, but due to individual printer settings, this can be overruled. Please ensure that your printer settings allow the forms to print clearly in 1 FULL PAGE.

NSWIoT online form, contact number and URL

Depending on your teacher qualifications and time of employment, you might or might not need to seek Teacher Accreditation from the NSW Institute of Teachers.

If you are required to complete a Teacher Accreditation form, the system will redirect you to the NSW Institute of Teachers portal https://etams.nswteachers.nsw.edu.au/teachers/login.aspx. This form is maintained and hosted by the NSWIoT. If you encounter problems login or using their application, you can seek help through:

Once you have completed the NSWIoT Accreditation online form, you will need to enter the application number back on the CEO Teacher Classification online form. Remember, you can log back into your application using your receipt number and date of birth.

All documentation requested by the NSWIoT Teacher Accreditation online form will need to be sent together with the documentation requested by the Teacher Classification form to the Catholic Education Office, Sydney. CEO will ensure that your NSWIoT accreditation application gets processed on time.
