The CEO Sydney's three Regional Offices - Eastern, Inner Western and Southern - provide services directly to their local Catholic school communities.
Each of the Regional Teams assists in the implementation of the Archdiocesan Vision and Mission for Catholic schools by providing leadership and professional support to members of the Catholic school communities within its boundaries.
Assistance is provided in the implementation of policies and programs which reflect the spirit of the Gospels, the Archdiocesan Vision and Mission Statements, and the content of the 'Towards 2010' Strategic Leadership and Management Plan as expressed in the Archdiocesan Annual Development Plan.
The Regional Office is the first point of contact for schools for information and assistance related to all aspects of education within systemic schools: for example Religious Education, teaching and learning, resource management, legal and industrial issues, personnel, and staff development.
The Regional Directors have delegated responsibilities from the Executive Director of Schools within the following areas:
Each cluster of schools within a Region is served by a Regional Consultant. The Consultants are charged with the task of enhancing Catholic education through
the growth and development of the schools within each cluster, while at the same time fostering and promoting a cohesive Archdiocesan school system. Regional Teams provide support and assistance to help each school community to achieve its full potential.
