Utilise Pinciples of Adult Learning	Implement principles of adult learning . Clarify the objectives of the session . Know and acknowledge the context of the program . Recognise the participants' learning and the range of experience in the group . Invite discussion and feedback . Have activities that engage the mind and spirit . Use personal experience where appropriate to enhance the objectives of the session
Empower Participants	Engage participants in responding positively to the program . Acknowledge the purpose of the program ie to form and to transform/enhance participants' knowledge, skill development and professional practice . Build confidence and competence to carry out the relevant role . Use affirmation as a means of establishing a positive learning environment and gaining rapport with participants . Ensure an interactive, participative focus at all times . Invite evaluative comments to enhance future presentations
