Students at All Saints Catholic Boys College, Liverpool continued their tradition of retelling Christ's crucifixion in a live re-enactment of the Stations of the Cross in a Holy Thursday liturgy at the school recently.
Drama teacher Ms Teresa Holland said that a group of teachers and students spent two days working on script, movement, sound and costumes to retell the story of Jesus' suffering in those last 12 hours before his brutal death.
"It's a production that has been staged at the College for the past three years," she said.
Religious Education Co-ordinator Christopher Neaves says that "when the students walk in the steps of Christ's journey to Calvary each year, the true meaning of Easter becomes more meaningful to them."
"This very powerful prayerful celebration draws the community closer to the final stages of Our Lord's life.
"Each station recalls the events and each station allows for the community to reflect in prayer on how each of us contributes to the agony of Jesus in our daily lives but also how we can improve through it."
Many parishioners, parents and families filled the quadrangle for the Easter reflection.
