PARENT MEETINGS are held at least twice a year in each Region. Most meetings are in the form of information sharing on current education issues. All interested parents are welcomed to attend. Delegates are encouraged to present the views of their association at these meetings.
LOCAL SCHOOL PARENT ASSOCIATIONS exist to support the school and its community. All parents/carers are encouraged to be active members of their local school's parent association. Each local association elects or appoints two delegates to represent them at the Archdiocesan level.
The Federation is a founding member of the Council of Catholic School Parents (CCSP), which was established in 1995 by the Bishops of NSW to act in the interest of and on behalf of parents at State level.
MANAGEMENT OF THE FEDERATION
The affairs of the Federation are managed by an Executive Council which meets at least five times a year.
