Pioneered the establishment of a new course for schools, Mass Media Education (K-12), and conducted training programs in all states, with the exception of Western Australia. Since 1970 some 53 publications have appeared in Australia and overseas. Details of publications may be found in Publications: "A" Mass Media Education 1971-1983.
Worked with major international agencies - - Pontifical Commission for Social Communications (Rome), UNESCO (Paris), International Catholic Association for Radio and Television - UNDA (Belgium), Multimedia International (Rome), and the Office of International Catholic Education - OIEC (Belgium) - and was consulted by more than 30 countries in the preparation of local media education courses. Lectured extensively in New Zealand, Manila, Munich, Dublin and San Francisco.
Conducted workshop for Secondary teachers in Mauritus 1994.
Initiated "Visual Literacy and Media Studies" publication July 1998 and subsequent inservice program.
Republished "Life in the Media Age" (1978-2003) in May 2003.
