Services Available to Schools and Communities
The Financial Services Team assists in the implementation of the Archdiocesan Vision and Mission for Catholic schools by providing leadership in a range of professional and administrative services.
Services provided by the Financial Services Team include:
- Financial Management: servicing the Finance Committee of the SACS Board; system finances and accounting; system and CEO budget; Goods and Services Tax (GST); bridging finance; debt servicing; investments; business plan; school finances and accounting; Financial Questionnaire; school external and internal audits; payroll and accounts computer; finance inservices for school administrative staff; SAS administration; finance; training and support.
- Payroll Services: teacher classification; payroll administration; leave administration; employment records; DSE checking/clearance.
- School Facilities: capital works/grants program; interest subsidy; repairs and maintenance program; demountables program; audit of school facilities; demographic and planning data.
- Staffing, Census and Visa Students: enrolment eligibility; annual staffing process; staffing allocations; payroll reconciliation; Statistical Returns; Census; policy and processes for enrolling overseas students; student enrolment data and data transfer.
- School Planning and Provision: servicing the New Schools and Rationalisation Committee of the SACS Board; providing demographic information related to planned educational provision, new schools, amalgamations, closures and extensions.
