Services Available to Schools and Communities

The Information Communication Technology (ICT) Team assists in the implementation of the Archdiocesan Vision and Mission for Catholic schools by providing leadership and strategic direction for technical services and support of the CEO, Sydney and Sydney Archdiocesan systemic schools.

Services provided by the ICT Team include:

• Development and implementation of an ICT Strategic Plan.
• Developing policy and programs to support ICT within the classroom.
• Developing strategies to share and promote best practice in ICT.
• Developing technical strategies and modules for an Archdiocesan approach to e-learning.
• Managing technical support and the quality of technical services provided by Myinternet.
• Maintaining and developing bulk purchase schemes, negotiating Information Technology (IT) service level agreements with third party organisations, and monitoring IT systems performance to ensure that service levels are being met.
• Managing Wide Area Network data services.
• Managing ICT Helpdesk support for schools.
• Technical development, maintenance and support for business information and account systems.
• Development and support for Intranet and Internet systems.
• Research and development of emerging technologies.
