Services Available to Schols and Comunities

The Communications Team facilitates effective communication on Catholic education issues in the Archdiocese of Sydney to relevant audiences.

The team reports directly to the Executive Director of Schools. It operates across all areas of the CEO's activities to carry forward the Vision and Mission of Catholic education within the context of the Sydney Catholic Schools 'Towards 2010' Strategic Leadership and Management Plan and the CEO's Communication Plan.

The team's main areas of operation are:

• Media (print and electronic): media releases and photography on priority events and activities; media liaison and crisis management; media monitoring and analysis.
• Publications (print, audiovisual, web-based): 'About Catholic Schools' magazine; publishing system publications for the CEO and SACS Board; establishing and maintaining the CEO's house style and corporate identity; providing assistance with writing, editing and proofreading; support and co-ordination of visual communication, including DVD production; provision of professional photography; the CEO's public website.
• Marketing: Catholic Schools Week and Enrolment Campaign; advertising; producing promotional materials for schools; marketing planning for individual chools; marketing assistance for School Councils; sale of publications Australia-wide.
