In 1995 a Primary Sport Working Party was formed to coordinate the organisation and implementation of Sporting activities in Primary schools across the Archdiocese. A Primary Sport Coordinator was appointed in May 1995 to facilitate the participation of Archdiocesan students in NSW Catholic Primary Schools Sports Council events. In 1997 the Sydney Archdiocesan Primary Sports Council was officially established. This Council is responsible to the Executive Director of Schools.
