Helping students achieve in literacy and numeracy

An Even Start - National Tuition Program aims to support students who did not meet the 2007 National literacy or numeracy benchmarks in Years 3, 5 and 7 or who were formally exempt from the National Assessments.  This support is in the form of tuition assistance to the value fo $700 in either literacy (reading or writing) or numeracy.  Schools will also be eligible for $80 per student for schools in non-remote locations and $120 per student in a remote location.

TUITION AGREEMENT

The National Tuition Management system (NTMS) database requests that a tuition agreement be signed by tutors, schools and parents.  A copy of the agreement is available here for schools to use if they wish to begin tuition before the agreement becomes available on the NTMS.  The copy of this agreement is kept by the school
