Integrating ICT in RE

The development of the Religious Education Online Resources, and their availability demonstrates excellent use of technology, in a networking and communicative context. The uses of ICT in these circumstances allow greater opportunities for teachers to share, interact and plan in a collaborative manner. Ultimately our students benefit from these experiences.

It is important to acknowledge that while ICT has been utilised as a tool for the easy access of resources, it is equally important for teachers to make use and integrate ICT in the teaching process with their students.

This form of technology and its availability, being significantly new, is a learning journey for all involved. Therefore, it is imperative that teachers continuously network, communicate, and celebrate their achievements with one another, in order to maximise the potential of this medium for their teaching.
