While IQ and technical skills are important, it is emotional intelligence that lies at the heart of leadership, especially Christian Leadership.
Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Motivation, Empathy and Social Skill enable people to model their service and leadership on that of Jesus.
Mastery of Emotional Intelligence enables one to move from:
Hurt - Healing
Anger - Forgiveness
Pessimism - Optimism
Fixed mindsets - Flexible mindsets
By developing emotional intelligence we are able to control and then sculpt our inner selves.
This inservice day is ideal for those involved in Religious Education and Pastoral Care.
